I've noticed those star fields, large clusters of similar stars. Next to the Omega Nebula, there are a bunch of non-sequence stars in the systems of B-type stars. Whether or not they're new, however, I have yet to find out.

Do you run ED on a custom computer, pre-built, or modified?

Obsidian Ant you better be getting paid by frontier. As you have introduced me to this game and guided me as i am sure you have for many players.

Gotta laugh when Obsidian Ant gets more views on average per video than the actual official Elite Dangerous channel 🙂

Space is just vast. One will always be first to discover something. Great video.

One thing I would have covered is the tetris blocks in the star fields. there's so many dense areas of the populated star field who's borders are straight lines with right angles. It's really noticeable from the cockpit as well as in galaxy map.

Very nice, I'm enjoying watching your travels. Have you found any neutron's or pulsars recently?

  17. 19 Mayo, 2017 at 11:24 pm — Responder

And an other thing about planets, has any one come across, any sort of a cave, in any of the planets and moons we can land on?

  18. 19 Mayo, 2017 at 11:24 pm — Responder

I'm heading to the same location, quite a few ly away.
Noticed a couple of systems with your nametag 😀

awesome video Obsidian Ant, that earth-like world (1 min 45) with the islands and the snowy mountain range looked good enough to land on, even if uninhabited. I hope the ability to land on such planets comes soon…

He he he, I too am unable to go past the beauty of the planets. The question "perhaps that one is terraformable" jumps into my mind every time I see planets in the Goldilocks zone and I just have to check. Upping the exploration data value did not help in this regard. 😉 Anyway, I'm in a relative proximity but I sure won't jump in to steal your find.

    Here's some information for you:

Travel at least 1,000 light years straight up from Jaques Station. Then explore parallel to the core, until you get to the Dryao Aoscs sector. I did this in reverse as I traveled to Colonia. You will find a vast abundance of every rare star and black holes in the game, except Wolf-Reyet stars. I tagged MANY of them, but there's so much that I couldn't tag them all.

obsidant is out of line to suggest a station at beagle point babylon 1 in rememberance of commander jeffery sinclair the guy who played the first commander of babylon 5
the actor who played him has passed away and it would be a sad thought indeed to not
for someone like him to be lost to time as his character did in such fashion..
please run it by the guys of e.d.

very nice video. woooow those stars! Did you use any filters for this video, like… to make the stars glow more?

  31. 19 Mayo, 2017 at 11:24 pm — Responder

With the discovery of Generation ships, I'm sure that some of them got to their destination so its very possible that somewhere out there, is a random colony that has no idea how far humanity has come.

I had so much faith in this game. almost painful to watch, 400 billion systems and nobody online.
    Well done frontier

I didn't realize how dirty my screen was until I watched this

  35. 19 Mayo, 2017 at 11:24 pm — Responder

Colonia is the place for explorers for sure. Right on the neutron super highway you can make your way to the center in a few hours if you play it smart. The stars are so dense that finding an unexplored system is so easy.

I have my name on a supergiant star near the green-red nebula in this video. Rather proud of it.

  38. 19 Mayo, 2017 at 11:24 pm — Responder

    nice video

can you tell me does it take very long to plot course on these very high density system areas ?

Oa? Did I just hear someone mention the lack of anything out there? To be honest, Fdev seem to only think of the bubble.

I have a conspiracy theory for this game if your curious. What if the person we play as is actually a hologram created by a computer. Why doesn't the character get off the sit at all and just instantly gets on a srv and back to the ship instantly? In the holo me it lets the character teleport then generates like a hologram so we can change our looks? Maybe the AI crew members are actually a computer to drive the small ship where the person in the ship is a hologram. When we are in the fighter we see ourselves in it but when it explodes we immediately get back to our ship. Also, when in that fighter and then spectat you see the AI in your seat and you aren't any where else. Because if that was the real you in that fighter you would die and that was gameover. The people who have created you let you go out there while they stay in there stations while you do what they want you to do so no real people die. There might me less live people in all the spaceships. In multi-crew you join or invite people to do something. Like look at how they go to your ship they like become some memory file or something then get holoed into a seat to do stuff with you. When you die you aren't in a escape pod you just go back to the station you landed at instantly like how would you get that ship instantly it would take years to build a new one and get the same stuff you had before like mods. There are lots of things in this conspiracy theory I could say but I won't make this comment longer. I have thought about this for a couple of months. Please tell me what you think can you provide evidence to prove this theory it more or disprove it?
